Swakopmund Museum Entrance Fees as from 1 September 2023

The Swakopmund Museum entrance fees have consistently stayed the same for a number of years, while the economic expenses have increased significantly. Thus the governing body of the Swakopmund Museum, the Scientific Society Swakopmund, felt the need to increase the fees. The below entrance fees will take effect from 1st September 2023 and thereafter be reviewed annually.

The new rates are as follows:

Adults                  N$ 40

Students             N$ 30

Children              N$ 15

Adults groups   N$ 35   (group: at least 10 adults)

School groups   N$ 5      (subsidised, 1 teacher per 10 paying students receive free entrance)

Guided Tour      N$ 40    (additional to entrance fee, pre-booking recommended, min N$ 200, max 10 people)

Teacher preparation tour N$ 10 per teacher, minimum N$ 50 (tailor-made tour focusing on interesting topics for school-groups)
